About Lee County Amateur Radio Club

The Lee County Amateur club was formed March 2010 as a way for local ham in the county to come together to meet each other and spread the word of our hobby.  The club is a member of the ARRL.  The club call is WX9LE and the trustee is Wayne Lachat K9QDA.  The club meets the second Thursday of each month at 7Pm at KSB Hospital in Dixon Ill on the second floor in conference room 1.   We specialize in digital communication with 2 RMS gateways setup in the county.  We are currently working on a broadband-ham network with in the county.  The ARES net meets each Monday night at 8PM on the 146.970 repeater with a PL of 82.5.  You can also connect to the repeater by Echolink using K9QDA-R.  For information or to become a member please see the contact section of this page.
